Jensen gets to class early, because there's really no point in going back to the dorm after his econ class ends. Sitting alone in an empty classroom for half an hour is a little sad, but it gives him a chance to do some reading.

But then he opens the door and Danneel Harris is already there, in the seat next to the one he was going to sit in, and she smiles at him. "Uh, hi," he says, managing to smile back. Baby steps.
